John lived at the north end of the Great Pond. His grandfather John Poole bequeathed him one half of his estate in that vicinity, including the late residence [1874] and farm of Dea. Caleb Wakefield, the ‘Newcomb Mill,’ and the ‘Benja. Cox Farm in Lynnfield.’
